Wit the location of the 4-star Hotel Glöcknerin in “Hubertauern” only 1 km from the centre of Obertauern, we are able to not only guarantee a car-free and relaxing winter holiday but also a relaxed and chilled atmosphere as we offer all guests a parking space in our underground garage. And the ski enjoyment can start directly from our ski cellar.

Families with children will find all they need for an enjoyable and comfortable ski holiday in the Hotel Glöcknerin. There is also a ski school and ski hire in the hotel. Here experts can advise you on ski equipment and ski courses. We also offer a ski cellar with ski boot warmers and drying facilities for all your ski equipment. And you can put your skis on right in front of the hotel
As the practice lift is only a few metres away. Here children as well as beginners can learn the basics before going to the ski area with the Kehrkopfbahn lift. And here, too, the descent is via an easy blue piste which means that even beginners can return to the hotel on skis without a problem!

Groups of friends can set off to the Obertauern skiing area after a hearty breakfast. Discover the famous Tauernrunde (Tauern Circuit). Obertauern offers the perfect piste for all levels: 61 kilometres of easy, 35 kilometres of medium and 4 kilometres of difficult-level pistes await skiers! You can also look forward to exploring the fun park with its many challenges by snowboard. Many ski lodges and sunny terraces, meanwhile, offer the perfect place for a break in-between. And there is also our own restaurant herzenslust serving drinks and snacks for the après ski. The descent out of the ski area via an easy blue piste also means the Flubachalm is an alternative if you would like to celebrate a little.

Cross-country enthusiasts can explore the 10 km world cup track which is only 50 metres from the hotel whilst numerous hiking paths through the winter wonderland of the Tauern region await walkers. Saunas and a wellness area, meanwhile, offer the perfect way to end an active day. And you can reward yourself with a romantic dinner in our restaurant herzenslust!
